Wyoming APEX Accelerator: Government Contracting Summit

Every year, the federal government spends millions of dollars right here in Wyoming! If you want to sell your products and services to the federal government, The Wyoming APEX Accelerator, Senator Cynthia Lummis, and the SBA invite your small business to participate in the 2024 Wyoming Government Contracting Summit on April 8-9, 2024 presented in conjunction with the Wyoming Funding Summit being held in Riverton, Wyoming on April 10-12, 2024.

Schedule:
April 8, Day 1
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Check-in and registration
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Programming
April 9, Day 2
8am – 5:00 pm Programming

Benefits of attending this event include:
• An introduction to free resources to assist you navigate the federal procurement process
• Meeting individually with federal agencies to talk about supplies and services they buy and how they purchase them
• Marketing your product or service one-on-one to the participating federal, state, and local agencies

Agencies invited (subject to change) include GSA, F.E. Warren AFB, National Park Service, USDA, VA, Wyoming National Guard, U.S. Forest Service, BLM, Federal Highway Administration, Wind River Job Corp, and more! Additionally, PRIME contractors, representatives from the University of Wyoming and WYDOT DBE as well as local agencies have been invited to participate.

Workshop topics include, How to Sell to the Government, Basics of Government Contracting, Writing a Proposal, The Buy Indian Act, Cybersecurity, Mentor-Protégé Program as well as other subject matter related to government contracting!

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hampton Inn in Riverton, WY. Guests can call the hotel directly to book their rooms at 307-856-3500. You will need to let the front desk staff you are traveling with the Government Contracting Summit to be placed into the block or you can book online. You will also need to provide proof of tax exemption if applicable.
