Entrepreneurs looking to start their own business can learn about everything that is required during an upcoming Start Your Own Business Workshop in Douglas, WY. Presented by the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, this no-cost training will provide a basic overview of starting a business in our state. The workshop will take place on May 23rd, 2019 from 5 to 8 pm at the Converse County Library.
Explore the pros and cons of owning a business and evaluate the skills and knowledge necessary for success. This workshop will cover numerous topics such as:
- testing the feasibility of your business idea
- identifying your target market
- financing options
- creating a business plan
- and more
No Cost
The workshop will be presented by Justin Farley. Justin is the Regional Director for the Wyoming SBDC Network, covering Natrona, Platte, Niobrara and Converse counties. He has a background in finance, real estate as well as owned, operated and sold a Papa Murphy’s and Quiznos franchise. Justin’s business experience can help lend some insight on the road to entrepreneurship.
This is designed to be an interactive program, so bring your questions. This program is free-of-charge for Wyoming residents, but pre-registration is appreciated.
