Megan and Justin Thomas of Provizion LLC in Casper aren’t content to wait for opportunities to fall into their laps. They’re proactive, seizing every chance that comes their way. In less than a year as government contractors, they’ve already secured five contracts. As Megan puts it, “God opened every door for us.” The Wyoming APEX Accelerator has witnessed firsthand their determination, strategic planning, and unwavering commitment to success.
Based in Casper with three children, Megan and Justin are raising their family to embody the values of hard work and dedication. They relocated to Wyoming from Tyler, Texas, in 2019, following various opportunities and divine guidance. In Texas, Justin worked in a machine shop, while Megan held various customer service positions. Justin ventured into power washing in 2020, and in 2023 they formed Provizion LLC, with Megan as the majority owner. Determined to break into the field of government contracting, Megan dedicated herself to intensive study and research, effectively earning a self-taught degree in the field.
Megan and Justin worked with APEX advisors at the Wyoming SBDC for guidance through the complexities of government contracting, from registering in SAM (System for Award Management) to developing capability statements and networking. Megan and Justin diligently followed the guidance of advisors and trusted their own resourcefulness and work-ethic. Provision LLC has secured contracts ranging from providing portable toilets in Colorado and Utah to removing hazardous waste in Virginia. “We knew we needed some past performance to demonstrate our capabilities,” Megan explains. “So, we weren’t picky about our first contract. We just grabbed something within our reach and started building meaningful partnerships.”
We often tell our clients that securing a first government contract can take up to two years. Megan and Justin’s rapid success is a testament to their grit, determination, and willingness to seek guidance from APEX advisors. This dynamic partnership is a testament to teamwork; Megan takes the lead on administrative tasks, proposal writing, accounting, partnerships, and contract management, while Justin focuses on partner communication, pricing, quality control, and inspection.
Watching Provizion LLC grow has been incredibly rewarding for the APEX team. Seeing our clients succeed and secure contracts is our greatest source of satisfaction. Government contracting is certainly not easy, as Megan will attest, but it can be highly lucrative and consistent.
Megan and Justin’s journey is inspiring, showcasing their ability to navigate the world of government contracting, build strong relationships, and raise a family in the beautiful state of Wyoming. Congratulations, Provizion LLC!
