
Are you passionate about helping local business owners succeed? The University of Wyoming is looking for a State Director to lead the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network.
The primary goal of this position is to drive economic growth by supporting Wyoming entrepreneurs and small business owners. The Director will oversee the network’s no-cost business advising, training programs, and essential resources across the state.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing Leadership: Guiding regional center staff and managing day-to-day operations.
- Managing Finances: Overseeing budgets, writing funding proposals, and securing grants.
- Building Partnerships: Working closely with state, federal, and university partners including the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Wyoming Business Council, to keep the program strong and compliant with regulations.
- Strategic Planning: Shaping the future direction of the network and maintaining national accreditation.
